Ten Pennies = One Dime

Students participate in a review lesson before determining how many pennies are equal to one dime. They add the value of two sets of pennies with the teacher's assistance. They read number sentences using the proper words for pennies and dimes. They sing the "Ten Little Pennies" song and make piggy banks.

Lesson Planet has been nothing short of amazing! Lesson Planet is a part of my weekly lesson planning regimen. I teach my children the importance of collaboration and I think Lesson Planet is an excellent example of how collaboration can help improve ones learning.
