The Bill of Rights

Eighth graders participate in a Think-Pair-Share activity in which they list three rights they could not live without and share what they wrote with a partner. After watching a video, they identify the events that led to the signing of the Bill of Rights. In groups, they create a PowerPoint presentation for one of the ten amendments and present their information to the class.

Lesson Planet has helped me take ideas I have and make them more streamlined, creative and higher level. It is great to see how other teachers present the same topic in a multitude of ways!
