# The Case of the Diminishing Square ID: 8356

Tenth graders explore the problem of a small square constructed inside of a larger square. In this geometry lesson, 10th graders use TI-Nspire to examine the ratio of the area of the smaller square to the larger square. Students are encouraged to explore the model graphically and algebraically and the dynamic nature of the geometry utility allows students to build and test conjectures.
