The Developing World: How Do You Determine It?

Students participate in activities determining the state of a country, such as whether it is developed, less-developed, under-developed, or a Third World country. Using visual representations, they discover how easy it is to misperceive a nation. They identify the other factors that need to be analyzed to properly tell the state of the country.

Lesson Planet has taken the stress away of trying to come up with an interesting lesson that hooks the students. This is important for a rookie teacher.
