The Development of a Black-and-White Two-Dimensional Graphic Design and Written Commentary

Ninth graders make observational line drawings of important landmarks in the school community during a walking tour. When students complete their observational drawings, they write a reflection on the significance of the subjects they chose to draw. Students use their drawings as a starting point for designing a two-dimensional graphic image.

I teach a variety of subjects and ages depending on what block of the day. Generally, when I do not have time to brainstorm on my own or just need to find a quick worksheet LessonPlanet comes to the rescue. Excellent variety of math activities and worksheets for my grade 3 to 6 class. In addition, I've found countless activities for my social studies 10 class as well as my English 7 to 9 class. Honestly, I would recommend this site to all teachers.
