The Development of a Black-and-White Two-Dimensional Graphic Design and Written Commentary

Ninth graders make observational line drawings of important landmarks in the school community during a walking tour. When students complete their observational drawings, they write a reflection on the significance of the subjects they chose to draw. Students use their drawings as a starting point for designing a two-dimensional graphic image.
