The Impact of Warfare on Individual Emotions

Students identify the impact of warfare on the individual, primarily during the Pacific Campaign of World War II and the events which took place during the Pacific Campaign. Then they perceive past events and issues as they were experienced by people at the time, to develop historical empathy as opposed to present-mindedness. Finally, students interview a veteran of a foreign war and inquire about how their experiences impact their emotional state during and after their involvement.
