The New French President

Young scholars read an article about the new French President who is supportive of America. As a class, they brainstorm a list of characteristics countries should follow when dealing with their allies. In groups, they determine whether taking care of the environment or human rights is the most important issue. They write a persuasive essay to end the lesson on a quote they are given by their teacher.
