The Professional Athlete As Role Model: What Does It Really Take?

Students discuss the characteristics of athletes as role models, compiling a list of those characteristics that are desirable and those that are not. Then they research the lives of some past and present athletes, comparing contrasting the characteristics that define them. Students also construct an image of an athlete as a good role model for others.

What Members Say

Jesenia R.
Lesson plans are so much easier to write with all the ideas I get from Lesson Planet. As a student teacher I really appreciate the ideas and experience I can get from other teachers.
