Students, after reading "The Devil and Tom Walker," and "The Devil and Daniel Webster," analyze the authors' settings, historical elements, cultural influences and the conclusions each author makes. They make literary comparisons, link character behaviors and analyze the attitudes that each author exhibits. In addition, they write in formal format their comparisons of the two text.
