Three Towers of Ten

Pairs have fun with connecting cubes in this addition and grouping activity. Each partner picks a color of cubes, and the first rolls a die. For each roll, the player adds that many cubes to a tower, with each turn adding to it. The goal (this is adjustable) is to get three towers of ten cubes. Learners apply math to their results by illustrating the towers and writing an equation for each one. Variations are included to challenge learners further. The worksheet is pictured but not included.
