Thursday

Students describe and identify the long 'i' sound. They begin to think in abstract terms with a poem as a reference point and create a list of animals naming what kinds of "icles" they might make. Students write a letter to either the boy or the tree and then, they each take turns to share their works in the Author's Chair.

Lesson Planet has been great. It has showed me how to create different science lessons for the young students in my class.
