Ocean bottom geology has become more understood as our technology has developed. Teach young oceanographers the different features and landforms that are found on the floor of the ocean. Using a color code, collaborative groups identify such undersea features on a portion of a world map. They also mark where earthquakes and volcanoes have occurred on their piece of the map. Is there a relationship between the landforms and plate tectonic activity? A terrific instructional activity for your geology scholars!
