Unit 8 Ordinary People-Extraordinary Impact, Lesson 2: The Six Pillars of character

Students read the handout, "The Six Pillars of Character Checklist." They work in groups to define each of the six pillars of character. They share their definitions with the class. Each group creates a pillar poster of one of the characteristics. Students read the story "The Smartest Giant in Town," by Julia Donaldson.
