Using the Dewey Decimal System/Singular and Plural Nouns

Students locate books in the library using the Dewey Decimal system, then practice writing irregular plural nouns. In the first lesson, students use information from a library card or electronic catalog and Dewey Decimal guide numbers to locate books or subjects. In the second lesson, students are introduced to nouns that have irregular plurals and practice converting the nouns from singular to plural.
