Young scholars identify what a volleyball looks like and how it is used appropriately. They are introduced to eye-hand coordination exercises by using balloons and gradually working up to using a volleyball. Next, students study the appropriate way to receive and return a volleyball. They identify the proper equipment needed to play the game, the proper height of the volleyball net, and the rules and regulations of the game.

Andrea M.
Lesson Planet has taken the stress away of trying to come up with an interesting lesson that hooks the students. This is important for a rookie teacher.
