Waiting to Exhale

Fourth graders identify respiration as the process of taking in oxygen and ridding the body of carbon dioxide. After engaging in the lesson, learners should be able to identify the parts of the respiratory system including; the nose, pharynx, larynx, trachea, lungs, bronchi, bronchioles, diaphragm, and alveoli.
