Washington's Cherry Trees: A Gift from Japan

Young scholars work in groups to create publicity brochures for a tour of the Washington Basin during the Cherry Blossom Festival. Groups design, illustrate and include research information in their brochure. Research includes history of the Basin area, story of how American people were given the trees, and a map of the trees in Washington, DC.
