Water Music

Children are amazed when they discover they can make a musical sound by tapping a glass of water with a spoon. This lesson shows them that the amount of water in the glass will affect the pitch of the note produced. These lessons are meant to be done after watching an episode of the Arthur series together. Use it with "Arthur Rides the Bandwagon."

Cassandra C.
I am teaching Summer School Biology, which is not a class I normally teach. Lesson Planet has been an invaluable resource for getting ideas for engaging students and finding project-based evaluation activities! Thank you!
