Take a health-conscious approach to math and predict obesity in 2015 based on current data. Your learners can calculate their prediction through different methods and should be ready to discuss what factors can contribute to obesity. Solution methods include linear regression, graphing, creating a table, and proportional relationships. The activity provides follow-up questions that encourage discussion on solution methods and ways to live a healthier lifestyle.
