"Well, What Does It Really Cost?" Converting Currencies and Units of Measure

Students examine exchange rates and the monetary value of items from Europe. Using the internet, students track exchange rates. With partners, they locate items advertised in Europe and convert the cost to determine if the product is more expensive in Europe or in the United States. They create a class presentation to report their findings.

Mal A.
I am a very busy Head of Department and often don't have time to create worksheets and other resources for my classes. Lesson Planet has helped me find many useful and interesting activities to support my students' learning.
