Sixth graders review the terms deciduous and coniferous. They work in groups to estimate, classify and identify the number of trees from their local town. Students measure the circumference of a tree. they draw a tree and use their palm pilots to designate an area in their town for tree identification. They take digital pictures of their trees and create a web page.
