Why Do We Need a Government?

Young scholars define new vocabulary associated with the natural rights of citizens. In groups, they explain how government and laws protect their natural rights. They also identify problems within a state of nature and develop possible solutions to them. To end the lesson, they compare their own ideas with those of John Locke.
