Working Smoke and CO Alarms

Students investigate the importance of installing and maintaining smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. They draw a map of their home and indicate where the alarms are located. The students need blank floor grids before completion of the home map. The maps are used for comparison in small groups.

Kathy S.
When plans are needed, and time is short, I begin here for help from my colleagues. The framework of lessons, excellent worksheets, and multimedia presentations has proved extremely helpful.
