Thanks for the suggestion. I will make sure our editors are aware of more positive language options. And, I absolutely agree, they are learners first, and happen also to have autism.

Instead of referring to these students as "autistic learners", refer to them as learners with autism. They are learners first, and happen to also have autism. Thank you for the great read!!
