Students demonstrate an understanding of insects and science as a whole and construct the life cycle of a butterfly using pasta. They first fold a piece of paper into four equal parts. In the upper left corner will be stage one (egg). Then, students put stage two in the upper right corner. The third stage in the lower right corner and finally the fourth stage in the lower left corner. Finally, they draw arrows showing the progression of the stages.
