After reading the article "Homemade Holiday Gifts" by Frances Janisch (from the GALE Student Resource Center - Gold), pupils meet in groups to brainstorm homemade gifts they have given or received. They write a process paper to explain the steps necessary for making the gifts. An optional extension involves trading papers and following the steps to make the gifts.
