Young scholars investigate the basic trigonometric functions.  In this geometry/trigonometry lesson plan, students explore strategies to solve right triangles using basic trigonometric functions.  The lesson plan includes an application problem in which young scholars investigate the height of the flagpole in front of the school and the height of the school building.
