Fifth graders investigate given cultures using the internet, personal interviews and other sources, They examine how the civilizations of six Native American tribes and six Australian Aboriginal tribes survived during their respective winter seasons. After information is gathered, American and Australian classrooms share information via e-mail and present it in a PowerPoint slide show.
