High schoolers examine presentations of problems and reaching solutions in literature. In this writing skills instructional activity, students read "The Three Little Pigs," and respond to several discussion questions about plot, characters, setting, conflict, resolution, and themes. High schoolers discuss the story elements as they are presented in other children's stories as well.
