Students engage in book-making and sharing activities that increase their awareness about their own development from baby to child in order to develop language and social/emotional skills. In this development lesson plan, students select an item from home that was special to them when they were babies, then bring it to school to share. Students create a book entitled "When I Was a Baby," which includes their baby photo.
