Symmetry

Curated and Reviewed by Lesson Planet
This Symmetry worksheet also includes:

Where is the line of symmetry? Learners begin by drawing in a line to split three images evenly in half, using an example as reference. Encourage them to think about physically folding the picture to solidify this concept. Next, they do the same thing with four abstract shapes. The example here is a hexagon, however just one line of symmetry isn't enough! Consider cutting out larger versions of these shapes so you can demonstrate the proper line of symmetry during review. You also might number these to make referencing easier. They draw seven lines total.
