Solving Word Problems Involving Time

Time-tellers decipher word problems and learn how to work through elapsed time. They are given different scenarios for which they must figure out how much time has passed. This lesson also includes an assessment. Note that one of the teaching examples involves going to church and that in several instances, a proper noun is not capitalized as it should be. Since this is for teachers' eyes only, the lesson is quite useful regardless.
