Students understand that Georgia has 5 main land regions. They are able to identify the geographic regions of Georgia and describe the regions by completing a research project about a given region with 100% mastery.

Young scholars investigate the influence Africa has had on African-American families as they have migrated from Africa to various sections of the United States. They utilize map skills to locate regions in Africa and in the United States.

Students get an overview of the climate and organisms of the North American Prairie. After a lecture, and watching some videos imbedded in this plan, students compile research data on the North American Prairie.
