Young readers are introduced to the concept of cause and effect in a short passage on a comprehension activity. After reading the passage, kids record their answers to a series of questions.

Students are given data and are to calculate averages and yearly totals of how many cars travel the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. They also make a graph of the data.
