People who need hearing aids can now buy them in the U.S. over the counter, without a prescription. The move is expected to make the devices more affordable, and some are hoping Canada will follow suit.

Some say hearing is the most important of the five senses since we use it to connect with others. Experts say it’s a good idea to get tested to know how we’re hearing overall.
