Students engage in a series of loco-motor activities based on shapes. In this loco-motor lesson plan, students demonstrate physical skills through races, jumping, hopping, galloping in circles, squares, rectangles and triangles.

Here is a game that can be played by both sighted and unsighted children. Floor mats, blindfolds, and bowling pins are used to create a real-life battleship game where each team attempts to knock down the other team's pins. 

Students play a game with mats of different shapes and colors spread out over a playing area. As a shape and color is called out students run the the corresponding mat and stand on it.

Students get a bounce ball and find a Polyspot. On the teacher's signal, students underhand throw to a target. They keep their own score: one point each time they hit a target.

Young scholars practice moving over shapes they have designed. They work on trying to travel around the shapes while practicing their jumping and landing patterns.

Students walk, run, jump, and hop all over and around geometric shapes. They identify the shapes by running to and standing on the called out shape.
