Middle schoolers attempt to form a collection of actual objects or research from a variety of sources. They write a formal proposal for the contents of the collection before beginning.

In this Eggs Game activity, students cut out and put together the game board, tokens, cards and game spinner. Students try to collect the most eggs cards while playing the game.

Students complete a unit on the play, "Ivanov" by Chekhov. They read and analyze the play, write a short story, watch a film of the play, complete a data sheet, and conduct a debate.

Students discover the nature and uses of museums by completing several creative projects. Students also analyze abstract art with teacher guidance.
