Students examine the different members of food safety teams and their role in the food safety cycle. They study how these teams work together to keep our food safe.

Fifth graders will work in cooperative learning groups to research North American regions and create presentations to share with their classmates. To show what they have learned, 5th graders will create maps of North American regions.

Middle schoolers work in cooperative learning groups to create PowerPoint or KeyNote presentations on how humans impact the earth. This lesson can be accomplished in three different parts.

Students brainstorm ideas or create a definition of what bullying is. They write their ideas on the board. They then break into cooperative groups giving each group a form of bullying from a list and discussing it among themselves.
