Students practice typing historical document that contains intentional spelling errors, and use spell checking assistant to correct errors before printing final document.

After teaching kids the hand placement generally used for typing, give them a short list of common words to practice with. They type tight, light, sight, night, bright, and fight as fast and accurate as possible. 

Students write/type a three wish paragraph into Microsoft Word. They include specific items and ideas, that are listed in this lesson plan, in their paragraph. They participate in printing their paragraphs and sharing them with the class.
