Eternal Egypt: Medusa

For Students 9th - 10th
Medusa was one of the three Gorgons mentioned by Hesiod as daughter of the aged sea god Phorcys. Her head was cut off by Perseus and later used in his special affairs. The Medusa head was used by Athena as a symbol on her shield.
