Coloring pages showcase microbes—bacteria, viruses, and protists. Scholars have the option to download a coloring book and scavenger hunt or color the page directly on the computer. Three paragraphs describe each microbe. 

Learners complete the activity "Internet Scavenger Hunt of the White House" to become familiar with the White House Web Site. They then answer questions on an activity sheet, analyze information, and form good questions to e-mail.

Students discover how light helps plants to grow. By placing a plant inside a box cut into a maze, they observe how the plant finds its way through the maze to the light source.
