Familiar fairy tales are used as guides to help students analyze the elements of the short story: plot, theme, setting, point of view, and character.

These five activities allow students to explore the various Cinderella folktales, while comparing and contrasting the characters. They provide activity extensions, links to charts, discussion questions and the like.
