Young scholars play archery tic-tac-toe. In this shooting skills lesson, students aim at targets placed in a tic-tac-toe pattern using bow and arrows. The student with the most accuracy wins.

Students explore the ways that companies use sporting events to sell products. They show and tell to share what they love about sports. They discuss how advertisers, particulary alcohol advertisers, feature sports figures.

Students perform the SMASH technique and overhand motion. For this SMASH lesson, students practice hitting targets using racquets and the overhand motion. Students also complete a target smash drill using hula hoops. 

Students demonstrate controlled striking skills with a hockey stick while attempting to hit a target.

Learners practice incorporating the various skills and strategies associated with basketball. This activity can also be used to introduce different offensive and defensive strategies.
