Fourth graders identify bills and coins to $20 bills and make equivalencies. They organize bills and coins in groups from greatest to least and least to greatest. Students count out change.

Students use research skills to solve a problem. They research information needed to plan a vacation. Students create a letter, a flyer, an itinerary, an activity list, cost spreadsheet, a reference page, table of contents and a title page.

Students explore math and art concepts, create digital art examples of the concepts, and incorporate these works into a PowerPoint portfolio with explanation and analysis.
