It focuses on the mating behavior and post-mating rituals of the Australian redback spider, which involves the female eating the male after fertilization. The PowerPoint is very interesting, but could be a classroom management nightmare with immature pupils. However, it may be a great lesson to use with an AP class or select learners in science club. Discussion questions are imbedded in the presentation, but there is no assignment beyond that.
