A Kindness Tree

Children record instances when they witness kindness on paper flowers. The flowers are posted on a class tree. Children may also journal and add art to the tree. This lovely idea can be utilized during any part or throughout the entire school year. As an extension, learners can bring in photos of people who have been kind to them, and add those to the tree. This lesson is based on the Arthur episode: "Meek for a Week."
