Alex: Gps Scavenger Hunt

This lesson will provide 7th and 8th grade young scholars the opportunity to utilize GPS Handheld Tracking Units in order to understand latitude and longitude. Students will work in groups of four to complete a scavenger hunt around the campus; they will be using the GPS units to guide them to the final destination. Young scholars will answer questions about the points listed on the handout provided by the teacher.
