In this lesson plan young scholars will work collaboratively to explore the "Big Question" that led up to this lesson plan was "Why are there two solid rocket boosters used to launch the space shuttle instead of one with the same amount of fuel?" This lesson plan was created as a result of the Girls Engaged in Math and Science University, GEMS-U Project.
