Young scholars complete activities to study artists and self-portraits. In this self-portraits lesson, students make a collection of photographs of themselves from their lives and draw self-portraits using a mirror. Young scholars draw portraits of themselves in action situations. Students read stories or poems about giants and draw full-length portraits of themselves. Young scholars finish with print portrait activities.
