This is a week-long lesson on analyzing the similarities and differences between sources of tension and terrorism in eight locations around the world. The class is divided into eight groups and assigned one of the locations to research. They are expected to determine the source of conflict, speculate on possible solutions to the tension, and prepare a fact sheet for use in presenting to the class. They must address six specific questions when they present. No rubric is provided; however, the suggested assessment is of the presentation and research.
